The Packard Motor Car Company turned out the finest cars in the world, built to the highest standards of quality and engineering for over 50 years.  This legendary Marque is the choice of Top collectors the world over.  No Collection is complete without a Classic Era Packard.  This rare Example would make a fine addition to any collection and will garner quite a bit of attention at any Meet.  The 4th Series Packard is one of the most desirable and this One Off Short coupled Limosine exudes the flamboyance and style of its Era like few other cars can.  The Unique Body of this car sets it apart from really any other 4-43. The 4-43 is arguably one of the most desirable Packards from the Classic Era, and has been highly prized by top collectors for decades. This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the truly outstanding cars of the Classic Era.

Long known in the hobby as William Brewsters Personal car, this 4-43 was delivered to Brewster Coachworks and its chassis was shortened 7" to better accept the unusual short coupled Limosine Body. The car was passed by Mr Brewster to a Monsignor on Long Island before being acquired by a noted Collector who kept the car many years and had it sensitively restored- it still sports many original features- before passing it on to the current caretaker who has had the car for many years as well. While an older restoration the car remains in exceptional condition with no nicks, paint chips or other signs of misuse- This car really needs nothing to be shown competitively even by today's standards.

Of particular note is the very unusual reserve sweep of the Windshield, the elegant narrow pillars, accentuated by pinstriping, which continues down to the lower portion of the body giving the car an imposing presence. Standing tall on Disc Wheels, the car sports drum headlights, Dual Side Mounts, and correct Trunk. The exposed Skeleton Wood Trim of the interior perfectly ties the comparments together and provides an interesting visual that makes the car feel as unique when one is inside it, as it does when one is standing next to it. The car sports an unusual amount of ventilation- there are roof vents for both the driver and passengers, the windshield has interesting movable pieces, and there is of course the cowl vent as well. The adjustable pull shade Sun visor is truly unique.

This car is a tour de force of the Coachbuilders craft, and is a testiment to the expertise and skill of The Brewster Coachworks- One of the Finest Coachbuilders of all time.

This one off car is really without peer.
