Ole Betsy-an amazing original time capsule
Ole Betsy was purchased new and retained by the same family for over 45 years. In that time she had covered only 26,000 miles. She was used primarily for small errands around the Northside Indy area, and was also used in the month of May to head out to the track for the 500. Her owner typically went out the night before, as is the tradition around here, but in this case he slept in the huge trunk, versus inside. She is totally original except a repaint. All the receipts and records from new are stored in the large briefcase in her trunk, as well as some nice period advertising and manuals. Our client bought Betsy a few years back when it became apparant the grandson she was being passed to had more interest in hotrodding her than keeping her original. He has decided to pass her onto a new owner who will appreciate her inner beauty as much as her original owners did. Oh by the way she runs and drives without fault.
