Ventnor Boat

VIN# IN411

The Ventnor Boat company has been producing boats since 1902. Founded by Mr. Adolph Apel, the company gained fame as builders of some of the world's fastest speed boats. Ventnor dominated racing boat designs, winning many speed trials, races, and regattas. With World Wat II's arrival, Ventnor relocated from its hometown of Ventnor, NJ to Atlantic City and began producing warships. Ventnor picked up many new construction techniques from building warships that it continued to use after the war in its watercraft construction.

This boat features white painted wood with a red bottom and a red vinyl interior. The boat was completely restored by the Wawasee Boat Company in Syracuse, IN. It still glides effortlessly through the water and would make a beautiful antique boat addition to anyone's collection. The Ventnor is a very rare and desirable wood boat, in fact replicas a beign made that cost nearly $100,000. Here you can get one the very few originals, restored and ready to go boating, for less than the cost of restoration, or the cost of a replica.
